MANILA, Philippines – Former Public Works and Highways Secretary Hermogenes Ebdane and Simeon Datumanong were still no-shows at the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on the alleged anomalous P111 billion Bridge Program during the Arroyo administration.

According to Senator Serge Osmeña, he plans to issue a subpoena for Ebdane but they might be unable to summon Datumanong and Pangandaman who enjoy parliamentary immunity.

As for Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Osmeña said he is still trying to establish a direct link and once established, will try to summon the former president as well.

Former officials of the President's Bridge Program Office (PBPO), a separate office created during Arroyo's term under the Office of the President, was caught lying during Tuesday’s hearing and will be cited for contempt.
