MANILA, Philippines -- Typhoon "Pablo" (international codename "Bopha") has left damages amounting to over P178 million, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Wednesday.
Data from the NDRRMC showed that damage to infrastructure has already reached over P172 million while crops and agricultural losses have amounted to P2.5 million.
Damage to private properties, meanwhile, has reached over P3.2 million.
The total number of houses destroyed by strong winds has reached 2,776 in Region 10 and in CARAGA, 1,311 of which were totally damaged while the others were partially damaged.
The NDRRMC said as of 6 p.m., the total number of people affected by typhoon Pablo in Regions 4-B, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and CARAGA has already reached 45,899 families composed of 217,850 individuals.
