MANILA, Philippines - The Supreme Court has granted six more party-list groups their requests for a halt order against the Commission on Elections.

In a full court hearing, the magistrates extended the status quo ante order to the following: Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy (Anad), Philippine Guardian Brotherhood Inc. (1Bro-PGBI), Guardians Nationalist Phils. Inc. (1Ganap/Guardians), Agapay ng Indigenous Peoples Rights Alliance Inc. (A-IPRA), Kaagapay ng Nagkakaisang Aguilang Pilipinong Magsasaka (Ako Agila), and Bantay.

The halt order seeks to refrain the poll body from implementing a decision disqualifying the party-list groups from the 2013 elections.
