MANILA, Philippines – Last-minute registrants started flocking to Comelec offices a few days before the deadline of voters' registration.
People waited in line for hours in Comelec offices in Manila and Quezon City.
The Comelec expects more registrants by next week.
The Comelec office in Manila will beef up its security for the last-minute rush.
Comelec official, Atty. Jayvie Villagracia, said those who still plan to register should bring all the requirements as well as lots of patience.
