MANILA, Philippines - The leader of the Philippines' biggest Muslim rebel group arrived in Manila on Sunday to oversee the signing of an accord aimed at ending a decades-long insurgency, a senior government official said.

"I spoke with the protocol officer of the MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) and he confirmed Murad (Ebrahim) arrived in Manila," President Benigno Aquino's chief adviser on the peace process, Teresita Deles, told AFP.
