MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will accredit more than one citizen’s arm for the 2013 midterm elections.
Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes has asked both the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) and the National Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) to submit the documentary requirements for their accreditation.
Brillantes said they will soon be working on Namfrel’s accreditation during its en banc session today.
Cora Ignacio, corporate Secretary and head of projects, appeared in behalf of the Namfrel.
Namfrel said it is willing to partner up with other entities for its watchdog work in 2013.
