MANILA - Should President Aquino accept the challenge of netizens to ride the Metro Rail Transit-3 during rush hour?
Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. believes the President doesn't need to take the challenge to understand the problems faced by the riding public.
For his part, he said he will take on a challenge to ride the Metro Rail Transit-3 during rush hour.
Coloma, who used to serve as Transportation Undersecretary, explained that he too, like the public, used to ride the MRT and other forms of public transportation.
This is the reason why he understand the problems confronted by the riding public.
One challenge that Coloma will not take is the ALS ice bucket challenge.
The communications secretary said he is willing to donate money for research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis without having to douse himself with cold water.
Handa akong mag-donate," he said during Tuesday's briefing.
