MANILA – Rehabilitation czar and former senator Panfilo Lacson remains mum on his plans for the 2016 elections, even as discussions about the presidential elections are starting to heat up.
Speaking to dzMM, Lacson said talking about the 2016 elections at this point might derail his efforts in rehabilitating areas ravaged by typhoon Yolanda last year.
Lacson added it has been his policy not to ask the political party or affiliation of leaders in areas he is tasked to rehabilitate.
Lacson, who served as senator from 2001 to 2013, ran in the 2004 presidential elections but lost.
