MANILA, Philippines - The fickle weather played a cruel game with Filipinos for a third day in a row.
While the waters were receding, some Manila residents tried to go on with their lives. Some went to work. Some chose to stay behind and clean their houses despite the floods outside. Students were kept guessing if there will be classes the next day.
People who left their houses during the flood Tuesday trickled back into their homes. Others, however, abandoned their houses after spending a night on rooftops while waiting for rescue.
And just when everyone thought that the rains would finally dissipate, it came back in full force Wednesday, flooding the streets of Metro Manila yet again.
