MANILA - Social media users expressed disapproval over what they believe is special treatment for government officials implicated in the pork barrel scam.

The Sandiganbayan on Wednesday ordered the transfer of Atty. Jessica ''Gigi'' Reyes to Camp Bagong Diwa, junking her petition to be detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame where senators Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada are detained.

Meanwhile, the anti-graft court's Third Division ordered the PNP General Hospital to examine Reyes' former boss, Senator Juan Ponce-Enrile, before they decide on the 90-year-old lawmaker's motion for hospital arrest.

On Wednesday, TV Patrol asked on Facebook and Twitter, "sa tingin mo, patas ba o hindi ang nagiging pagtrato sa mga dawit sa pork barrel cases?"

Majority of the social media users who replied to the question believe that ranking officials should be detained in regular jails in the name of fairness.
