MANILA - Senator Jinggoy Estrada and businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles arrived at the Sandiganbayan on Tuesday morning for the hearing of their respective bail petitions.
Both Estrada and Napoles arrived at the Sandiganbayan past 8 a.m. They will face the anti-graft court's Fifth Division, chaired by Associate Justice Roland Jurado.
Estrada is facing one count of plunder and 11 counts of graft for allegedly amassing P183 million in pork barrel kickbacks.
Napoles, meanwhile, is facing three counts of plunder and 42 counts of graft before the anti-graft court. She is accused of setting up fake non-government organizations where lawmakers and bureaucrats allegedly funneled pork barrel funds in exchange for kickbacks.
The businesswoman is also facing plunder and graft raps before the Sandiganbayan's first and third divisions for the cases of Senators Ramon Revilla Jr. and Juan Ponce Enrile. – reports from Jenny Reyes, ABS-CBN News; Johnson Manabat and Edwin Sevidal, dzMM
