MANILA - TV host Kris Aquino, sister of outgoing President Benigno Aquino III, arrived late for the inauguration of Vice President Leni Robredo in Quezon City Thursday morning.

A photo taken by DZMM reporter Johnson Manabat showed Aquino standing behind the other guests after the ceremony had already started.

Aquino later told reporters she got stuck in traffic in Cubao.

Other guests spotted at the inauguration were Robredo's running-mate, Mar Roxas, incoming Senators Francis Pangilinan and Leila de Lima, celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, and several members of the Aquino Cabinet.

Only 300 guests were invited to Robredo's inauguration at the Quezon City Reception House in New Manila.

The program started before 9 a.m. and lasted less than an hour.

Guests were served modest Filipino cuisine, such as sotanghon, maja blanca, pan de sal, and buchi with chocnut, a local chocolate brand.
