MANILA - Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla visited her husband, Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center Friday afternoon.
Other than lawyers, doctors and spiritual advisers, relatives and friends are allowed only to visit the detainees in PNP Custodial Center on Thursdays and Sunday, between 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.
But on Fridays, the spouse of the detainee is allowed inside the detention facility, as conjugal visit. The congresswoman arrived at 1:20 p.m. Friday.
Prior to the arrival of Senator Revilla's spouse, several men donning barong tagalog arrived and went inside the PNP Custodial center around 12:37 p.m.
At the same time, Dr. Loi Ejercito, mother and personal physician of Senator Jinggoy Estrada, arrived at 2:07 p.m. at the PNP Custodial Center to visit her son.
Revilla and Estrada are facing plunder and graft charges before the Sandiganbayan for allegedly funneling millions of pesos in pork barrel funds to fake non-government organizations of Janet Lim Napoles.
