The Philippines played host to business, government and academic leaders for 3 days during the World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia.
The gathering is the Asian edition of the yearly conference held in Davos, Switzerland where the government and private sector discuss trends and pressing issues facing the world and how to make it better.
The WEF on East Asia had over 600 delegates from 30 countries and 460 business leaders. President Aquino, Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung graced and keynoted the occasion.
