MANILA - Senate Blue Ribbon Committee Chairman Teofisto "TG" Guingona III signed a subpoena for a copy of the digital files of pork scam whistleblower Benhur Luy, which supposedly contain transactions made by Janet Lim Napoles.

The subpoena is addressed to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

The subpoena has yet to be signed by Senate President Franklin Drilon, but de Lima and the NBI are given until May 28 to submit the files.

De Lima earlier said she will refer the submission of Luy's files to the Ombudsman since some of its contents are evidence in ongoing investigations.

Luy supposedly has thousands of files containing Napoles' transactions that may incriminate a number of lawmakers and Cabinet officials.
