MANILA - Senator Sonny Angara is eager to confront Janet Lim Napoles and other whistleblowers and ask them about the veracity of the "list" of officials allegedly involved in the pork barrel scam.
A "Cong. Angara" was among the lawmakers included in the list signed by Napoles.
Angara earlier reiterated that he did not allocate his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) to any non-government organization (NGO) and denied ever transacting with Napoles.
"Yes, lahat ng sinasabing whistleblower at gustong maging state witness," Angara said, when asked if he would want to confront Napoles when she is invited by the Senate for another inquiry on the PDAF scam.
"Lahat ng may sinabing kasamang senador, syempre dapat may paliwanag 'yun 'di ba? Kung may transaksyon man sila, ano 'yun? So handa silang [harapin] sila. Handa ba sila?" he added.
The lawyer of Napoles has said legislators being linked to the scam should inhibit in the Senate investigation.
