MANILA – Senator Aquilino ''Koko'' Pimentel III on Friday said alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim Napoles is not qualified to become a state witness.
Speaking to dzMM, Pimentel denied Napoles' allegation that he had transactions with Napoles and her foundations.
The senator said he never gave his pork barrel funds to any non-government organization.
Pimentel maintained that his signatures were forged to make it appear that he allocated a portion of pork barrel funds to the Department of Agriculture.
He has already filed charges against DA officials over the anomaly.
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima on Thursday said Napoles formally asked that she be admitted as state witness in the pork barrel scam cases.
