MANILA – Police have surrounded the home of Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. in Bacoor, Cavite following reports that more alleged National Bureau of Investigation agents are hiding inside.

Supt. Rommel C. Estolano, Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) information officer, told reporters via Skype that 3 confidential agents are hiding inside the Revilla home.

He said the 3 are colleagues of 6 NBI men that were arrested inside the Revilla home last Monday, Election Day. He said the 3 tried to block a regional public safety battalion of the Philippine National Police.

Estolano said he has filed for a search warrant to search the Revilla home.

The senator earlier said he sought the help of NBI men to protect him from police officers who were allegedly harassing him.

Police later arrested six NBI agents -- Honor Santos, Efifanio Baria, Rosauro Estardo, Rizalos Ronario, Danilo Cruz, and Frederick Galvez – outside the Revilla home for violating the election gun ban. Report from Edwin Sevidal, radio dzMM
