MANILA - Senator Loren Legarda denied she is involved in the modus operandi of alleged pork barrel mastermind, Janet Lim Napoles.

In a statement, Legarda said: “I do not know her and have never dealt with her personally or otherwise. I have never endorsed any NGO to benefit from my PDAF [Priority Development Assistance Fund].”

She warned she would sue those behind an alleged political smear campaign against her, including Napoles herself.

“Any statement to the contrary that may be in her [Napoles'] supposed affidavit is a perjured lie and is actionable criminally against her and all those involved in this political smear campaign,” she said.

Former Senator Panfilo Lacson submitted today before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee the list given to him by the Napoles camp.

Legarda's name and 10 other incumbent or former senators are on the list.

The others are:

Ramon Revilla Jr.,
Jinggoy Estrada,
Juan Ponce Enrile,
Vicente Sotto,
Koko Pimentel,

Manny Villar,
Alan Peter Cayetano,
Gringo Honasan,
Robert Barbers,
Francis Escudero,
JV Ejercito.
