MANILA, Philippines - Former president Glorial Macapagal Arroyo arrived at the Makati Medical Center for her medical check-up on Thursday morning.
Arroyo arrived at the hospital at 7:50 a.m. for her check up with her cardiologist, Dr. Robert Anastacio.
The Pampanga lawmaker has been complaining of difficulty in breathing, chest pains and hypertension for the past few weeks.
She already had a preliminary check-up at her detention cell at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, but was advised by doctors to conduct more tests at the Makati Medical Center
Pasay City Regional Trial Court Judge Jesus Mupas approved the one-day check-up.
Aside from the chest pains and hypertension, Arroyo is also ill with bone mineral disorder and viral infection on the skin that causes rashes. ANC
