MANILA - Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines president Sandra Cam on Friday said her own child is skipping nursing school for now due to alleged "spying" by unknown individuals.
Cam earlier filed a motion for writ of habeas data before the Supreme Court, asking the high tribunal to order government agents to stop alleged surveillance activities on her.
She told radio DZMM that she has noticed unknown vehicles outside her house in Alfonso, Cavite. She said she will also change her phone number after getting missed calls from unknown people.
Cam has asked the High Court to compel Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) official Alex Almario to reveal his true intentions for visiting her house in Cavite.
Cam earlier accused Almario and his party-mate, Senate President Franklin Drilon, of trying to silence her after she revealed that she had a list of lawmakers being linked to the pork barrel scam.
In the interview, Cam also chided Justice Secretary Leila de Lima for calling her an "investigator."
She warned that she will be forced to come out with evidence if she and de Lima have a confrontation.
During the interview, Cam refused to say if Senate President Franklin Drilon, Budget Secretary Butch Abad and Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala are involved in the pork barrel scam.
"They have to read between the lines for that."
She also said that she is holding off naming names linked to the scam because she is still facing two libel cases for linking former presidential son Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo and Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda to jueteng operations.
