MANILA - Whistleblowers Association of the Philippines president Sandra Cam urged the Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday to order Agrarian Reform Secretary Alex Almario "to cease and desist from conducting reconnaissance and/or surveillance activities" on her and her residence.

The petition for writ of habeas data is connection with Cam's claims that Almario is out to convince her to keep quiet about Janet Lim Napoles' list of lawmakers allegedly involved in the "pork barrel" scam.

Cam has claimed she has a copy of the said list.

Cam, in her petition, claimed that a white Toyota Innova and black pick-up without plate number "has been conducting surveillance" at the Nazareth Institute of Alfonso, a school she is managing and where she is temporarily holding residence.

Cam urged the high court to also order Almario to explain the "true reason" why he made attempts to meet with her face-to-face at a time when she is "under clear and present danger of real harm" in view of her pronouncements regarding the "pork" scam.
