MANILA -- Malacañang shrugged off Presidential Assistant for Recovery and Rehabilitation Panfilo Lacson's frustration over two Cabinet members who have been ignoring his efforts to coordinate a long-term response to the effects of super typhoon "Yolanda."
On Wednesday, Lacson indicated that as many as three Cabinet colleagues have been unresponsive to his efforts. However, one of them has changed his ways.
Lacson refused to name names.
He said the media should focus on the rehabilitation instead of intrigues.
Lacson on Wednesday also deplored the absence of a master rehabilitation plan, caused by the failure of government agencies to submit relevant information about the needs of their areas, including local rehabilitation plans.
