MANILA - Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas said he does not feel alluded to by "Yolanda" rehabilitation czar Panfilo Lacson on his statement that at least two Cabinet secretaries are uncooperative in the rehabilitation of typhoon-hit areas.
"As far as I know wala kaming pending sa opisina niya," Roxas told House reporters on Thursday.
He added that he has a good working relationship with Lacson.
"Partners ang tawagan namin sa text. Kung may isyu siya sa akin sasabihin niya yon," he said.
The DILG secretary explained that some local government units (LGUs) have difficulty in submitting their program of work to the national government because of the loss of important documents when Yolanda struck the country.
That does not mean, however, that they are uncooperative, Roxas said.
Lacson on Wednesday said two Cabinet members are causing him frustration in his work to rehabilitate areas devastated by the super typhoon.
He, however, refused to name names.
He even backed off when asked if one of the Cabinet members he was alluding to is connected to local governments.
