MANILA - Alleged pork scam queen Janet Napoles' transfer back to Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna has been stalled because she has yet to pay her bill amounting to almost P100,000.
Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Supt. Theodore Ruben Sindac said the discharge order for Napoles from the Ospital ng Makati where she underwent surgery has yet to be issued.
“She has not yet settled the amount of P97.116.43.”
The Napoles camp, however, is seeking an extended stay in OsMak, saying she further needs to undergo tests.
The motion will be heard on May 14.
Absent a resolution on the matter, her lawyers asked that her transfer to Fort Sto. Domingo be held in abeyance.
In a report dated May 5, the officials of OsMak said: “Mrs. Janet Lim Napoles, by clinical assessment, can now be discharged from Ospital ng Makati.”
