Oban to head Clark Development Corp.
MANILA, Philippines - Malacanang on Sunday confirmed that former Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Eduardo Oban was named as the new chairman of the Clark Development Corp.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte confirmed the news over at radio dzRB. She said she her boss, presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, relayed the message to her via text.
Oban retired last December from the Armed Forces.
Valte also announced several appointments.
Assistant Health Secretary Nemesio Gako has been appointed undersecretary for the same department.
World Health Organization technical officer Madeline Valera, on the other hand, was appointed Assistant Health Secretary.
Valte said President Benigno Aquino also signed the nominations of several ambassadors to represent the country in various jurisdictions abroad.
