MANILA - Vice President Jejomar Binay himself already questioned the results of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, the latest of which showed his United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) candidates trailing Team PNoy bets.
He said he believes UNA candidates should be getting more slots in the top 12. “Of course hindi kami naniniwala doon (SWS results). We still maintain more than that.”
UNA earlier challenged the SWS to reveal the financiers of its election surveys. The survey, conducted between March 15 and March 17, revealed only three UNA candidates making it to the top 12.
Binay’s daughter Nancy made a strong impact, however, jumping to the fifth to seventh spot, from seventh in February.
Binay said they have yet to hear from SWS. UNA also moved its subscription to Pulse Asia.
He also said UNA’s campaign is successful. “I always say when I’m given the chance to speak before a crowd, UNA is presenting a new type of politics…We are not the type na because we are an opposition party, lahat ng ginawa ng administration, mali.”
He said that if the administration has done something good, they are there to complement it. “After all pare-pareho naman ang concern, mapaganda ang buhay ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino, so doon lang tayo mag-dikit-dikit.”
