MANILA - About a hundred people, who introduced themselves as homeowners of various Globe Asiatique properties such as Xevera Mabalacat, Xevera Bacolor, and St. Monique Valais, held a rally in front of the Court of Appeals Wednesday morning to show support for businessman Delfin Lee.

The ralliers said Lee built for them an ideal community.

One homeowner even likened Lee to Jesus Christ, who was persecuted despite helping many people.

Lee is accused of using ghost borrowers and fake documents to obtain P6.65 billion in loans from Pag-Ibig Fund in 2009. He was arrested by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) in a hotel in Manila on Thursday night.

Lee has insisted that he has already been removed from the PNPlist of people with outstanding arrest warrants.
