MANILA - The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Wednesday claimed that an unknown person has cloned their website and published a supposed list of recommended candidates for PMA Class 2014.

The 73rd name on the list with the heading "Final List of Recommended Candidates for PMA Class 2014" was cadet Aldrin Jeff Cudia, who is now appealing his dismissal from the academy.

In a phone interview, PMA spokesperson Major Lynette Flores said their actual website with the same uniform resource locator (URL) -- -- is currently down.

Flores said the person who cloned their website may be riding on the case of Cudia in an attempt to sow confusion.

She said the PMA does not release lists of graduating students, nor would the list of graduates be alphabetical as the online list appears.

Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Lt. Col. Ramon Zagala confirmed that the only list the PMA ever publishes is the list of cadets to enter their plebe year.

Zagala corroborated PMA's statement that it was not the academy who posted the online list.

The AFP and the PMA said they would look into the matter.

Cudia is fighting for his chance to graduate with his class on March 16, 2014.

He was recommended for dismissal from the country's premier military school for supposedly violating the Honor Code which states: "We, the cadets, do not lie, cheat, steal, nor tolerate among us those who do so."

Cudia allegedly lied about why he came in late for a class.

His case is still with the review board after he submitted an appeal.
