MANILA -- Technology Resource Center (TRC) director Dennis Cunanan, one of the respondents in the pork barrel scam cases filed before the Ombudsman, went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Friday morning.

Cunanan refused to confirm if he was applying to be a provisional state witness similar to respondent Ruby Tuason, the latest to spill the beans on the pork barrel anomaly.

He, however, clarified that he was open to the idea of turning witness in the case.

He said he went to the NBI to fix documents and his affidavit.

Cunanan again maintained that he did not participate in the pork barrel scam.

He pointed out that he even blacklisted a number of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) linked to Janet Lim Napoles which he found to be suspicious.

Cunanan earlier revealed that some lawmakers' representatives lobbied for projects for specific NGOs at the TRC, and some P500 million worth of pork barrel funds of lawmakers coursed through his agency went to Napoles.
