MANILA - Vice President Jejomar Binay on Thursday kept mum about the United Nationalist Alliance's decision on the 3 common candidates, saying that the coalition is still talking about it.
UNA, however, gave a Valentine's Day message to common candidates Francis Escudero, Loren Legarda and Grace Poe Llamanzares.
"If we are not important to them, then they should say so and not leave us hanging. Binibitin lang nila kami," Rep. Toby Tiangco, UNA's secretary general and campaign manager, said in a statement.
Binay said he is convinced that UNA is off to a good start after their successful kick off campaign in Cebu and Bohol. UNA said more than than 90,000 people attended the rally.
Binay slammed authorities for allegedly preventing some of their supporters from going to the event. He said this cannot be the "daang matuwid" that the Aquino administration promised.
He also slammed the 12-0 forecast of the Liberal Party, saying it can be a mind conditioning tactic.
