MANILA - Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said they will soon release ads for their law enforcement campaign against violations of election campaign rules.
Brillantes said "Isumbong Niyo sa Comelec" ads will be launched on February 12 the start of the campaign period.
In this program, the public is invited to tell the Comelec of violations of the campaign rules.
"Magsusumbong ka lang. Pwede mo itawag. Kami bahala, checheckin namin. Hihingi kami ng tulong sa taongbayan," he said.
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez earlier said netizens should also use the hashtag #SumbongKo to join the campaign for clean and fair campaigns.
Meantime, some 1.81 million official ballots have been printed as of Friday morning.
Brillantes said the poll body is finished with all ballot designs. He said they can no longer alter the designs.
