MANILA - The Supreme Court has formed a committee to check whether employees have properly filled up their statements of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALNs).
In a four-page full court resolution signed by Clerk of Court Enriqueta Vidal, the high court constituted a Review and Compliance Committee to evaluate the SALN forms of employees in the high court and in the Presidential Electoral Tribunal.
“The main task of the [committee] is to evaluate the SALN forms submitted by the employees, to determine whether it was submitted on time; accomplished completely; and in proper form…” the resolution said.
Previously, it was the Office of the Administrative Services (OAS) with this function. The SALNs are then submitted to the CSC.
Vidal will be the committee’s chairperson, and lawyers Eden Candelaria and Caridad Pabello will be its members.
