MANILA, Philippines - The Supreme Court has directed the parties in the case of the 15 petitions against the Cybercrime Act to include the provision on cybersex in their discussions during the January 15 oral arguments.
The SC earlier issued a 120-day temporary restraining order against the implementation of Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 after various groups petitioned the Court to strike down provisions of the law.
Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno will preside over the oral arguments on the cybercrime law last week. -- Report by Ina Reformina, ABS-CBN News
