I was in Tebet in South Jakarta on Election Day. With its overwhelmingly Muslim character, the district was won handsomely in both rounds by Anies Baswedan – the challenger to the incumbent Governor Basuki Tjahja Purnama – the Chinese-Indonesian and Christian politician better known as “Ahok".
