MANILA – Web search giant Google has created a special doodle to commemorate the Philippines’ Independence Day.
Visitors to Google’s homepage on Thursday were greeted with a doodle on the “bayanihan” spirit, which is depicted by people helping each other move houses.
Users who click on the image will be directed to more information about the history of the country’s independence.

According to Google, this is the fifth Philippine Independence Day doodle to be featured on the web search giant’s homepage.
It started in 2009, when the Google logo was made to look like the Philippine flag.
