GPS watch

Seiko recently launched a solar watch that makes use of global positioning system (GPS) satellites, which the company claims is the first in the world.

Astron GPS Solar, named after Seiko’s first quartz watch made in 1969, can adjust to different time zones by connecting to four or more GPS satellites that orbit the earth.

Seiko claims that the time and date of its GPS solar watch are always exact, at least until February 2100.

The Astron GPS Solar watch comes in titanium and stainless steel models, and has a dual-time sub-dial, an in-flight mode indicator, a sapphire crystal.

It uses a low-energy consumption GPS receiver made by Epson.

LG is set to launch its latest Cinema 3D Smart TV, which promises flicker-free 3D images and easy access to content.

The new product removes the standard TV frame from view through its almost zero-bezel screen design, LG said in a statement.

The company added that it has improved on its battery-free 3D glasses, making them lighter and more flexible.

The Cinema 3D Smart TV also comes with a remote control that comes with voice command for quick searches, and applications such as “K-POP Zone,” which allows customers to access live Korean Pop music concerts.

Portable charger

Recognizing the growing use of smartphones and tablets worldwide, Genius recently launched a portable charger for these hot new gadgets.

The ECO-u600 Universal Power Pack can extend the battery life of two gadgets at the same time, even while a person is using it.

The product retails at P4,490.
