MANILA – Want to make your Valentine’s Day more romantic, memorable or bearable at the very least? Here are five apps that you may want to have on your mobile device.
The list, compiled by the local mobile service provider Globe Telecom, is not endorsed by ABS-CBNnews.com.
1. For those who are single: OkCupid
OKCupid is a free dating app that helps you find a suitable date with someone close by or from the other side of the world. You may sign up via your Facebook account to use the app, or make a separate account on your mobile device.
One of OkCupid’s best features is Quick Match, where it ranks potential dates and identifies a possible match, friend or enemy.
2. For those in the ‘friend’ zone: Love Quotes 500
Love Quotes 500 compiles the finest collection of quotes so you can better express your feelings for your special friend. Here, you can borrow words from people like Shakespeare and share them on Instagram and Facebook.
If these fail, at least you can claim that you are simply channeling your inner hopeless romantic by sending love to your friends.
3. For those who have only just begun: Love Test Calculator
The Love Test Calculator app aims to gauge your compatibility using quizzes and other questions about your hobbies and interests.
It also comes with different dares and challenges, and a selection of romantic quotes via its Tender Words feature.
4. For those who are dating: Zomato
Zomato is a lifestyle and dining app that rates hotels and restaurants in the Metro, and this can come in handy when planning your next date.
It features handy menu lists, reviews and photos, as well as contact information of different food and beverage establishments
5. For those who are exclusive: Red Stamp
Red Stamp lets you send stylish and personalized cards and notes, a budget-friendly way to express your love after all the courtship and constant dates.
The free app has hundreds of pegged designs and styles, which means you can use it not only for Valentine’s Day, but throughout the year.
