MANILA – The next installment of the popular reality competition “Survivor,” which is set in Cagayan, Philippines, is set to premiere next year.
Entertainment Weekly reported that “Survivor: Cagayan” will be aired in February 2014, with the episodes for the show filmed last summer in the Philippines.
A sneak peek of the new season will be shown at the end of the “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” finale, it added.
Eighteen contestants will be featured in “Survivor: Cagayan,” Entertainment Weekly noted.
They will be divided into three tribes: one of beauty, one of brains and one of brawn.
Early this year, “Survivor” filmed in Palaui Island in Cagayan, as well as in the province’s famous Callao Caves.
The reality show previously featured the Philippines’ Caramoan Islands in Camarines Sur.
