12th World Bazaar Festival kicks off

MANILA, Philippines -- The biggest holiday bazaar in the country opened Friday in Pasay City, offering over two weeks of entertainment, shopping, and interactive attractions.

Organized by Worldbex Services International (WSI), in cooperation with ABS-CBN, the 12th World Bazaar Festival kicked off Friday morning at the World Trade Center-Metro Manila.

The country's grandest Christmas bazaar will run until December 23, and is open from 12nn. 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday; and 10 a.m. to 12 mn. from Friday to Sunday.

Held for the benefit of ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc., the World Bazaar Festival features over 800 booths selling products from top retail brands, some 600 participating companies, and a 25,000-square meter shopping area for 230,000 customers.

This year, the bazaar will highlight the latest in electronics and gadgets via the weekend "Appliance & Gadgets Craze."

Kapamilya talents will grace the event to perform for shoppers. Likewise, popular internet personalities will hold a meet-and-greet with their followers in "Bloggers Block."
