Psy will be performing at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds on December 20, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported on its website on Thursday, citing the concert's promoter, Joed Serrano of "That's Entertainment."
The same news website earlier reported that the show will be held on December 21. The change of date is reportedly due to complications in the negotiations for the Manila concert.
The Korean superstar is expected to perform "Gangnam Style," the dance hit that has reached No. 1 in music charts in over 30 countries.
First uploaded in July on YouTube, the music video for "Gangnam Style" now has the most number of views on the video-sharing site. As of writing, it is nearing 892 million views.
Owing to its music video's viral spread online, "Gangnam Style" has become a cultural phenomenon of sorts, spawning countless parodies from different parts of the world.
It also paved the way for the international popularity of Psy, who has since performed alongside other international celebrities, including Madonna.
