MANILA, Philippines -- Living up to her title as the "Queen of All Media," host-actress Kris Aquino is not afraid to use microblogging site Twitter to reach out to her fans.
On her morning show "Kris TV" on Wednesday, Aquino admitted that she was initially hesitant to use Twitter to avoid reading negative feedback from the public.
But since July, she started tweeting personally as she believes Twitter is a good medium to learn more about her audience.
"I realized why am I afraid to read the opinions of others when I know naman na I'm doing my best to live a good life, hindi ba?" Aquino explained.
"May confidence ako sa sarili ko at sa pamumuhay ko and dapat malaman ko kasi what they want to see. It helps us realize kung ano ang gusto ng audience natin kasi that's primarily why we are doing this job, to entertain all of you. So nalalaman ko 'yung feedback na ito, 'yung na-enjoy nilang episode, ito 'yung medyo hindi nila gusto or gusto nila diretso ang buhok ko so wala na kaming ginawa kung hindi idiretso ang buhok ko," she added.
Aquino, who uses @krisaquino214 on Twitter, has more than 200,000 followers on the popular social media site.
