MANILA – More than 40 local acts are set to perform at a fundraising concert for victims of super typhoon “Yolanda” (international name Haiyan).
All proceeds from this year’s edition of the “Myx Mo!” concert, which is organized by the local music channel Myx, will go to relief operations of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya campaign for those who were affected by “Yolanda.”
The concert will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.
“Nakikiisa ang Myx sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong ‘Yolanda.’ Kaya naman lahat ng proceeds ng ‘Myx Mo 2013’ ay mapupunta sa Sagip Kapamilya. Ang inyong ‘Myx Mo!’ ticket ang magsisilbing donasyon para sa pagtulong sa pagbangon ng mga kababayan nating nasalanta ng bagyo,” Myx VJ Nikki Gil said in a video uploaded on Myx’s website.
Tickets to the “Myx Mo 2013” concert are priced at P300, P150 and P50 each.
Some of the artists who will perform at the concert include Wolfgang, Rivermaya, Parokya ni Edgar, Chicosci, Callalily, Moonstar 88, Never the Strangers, Save Me Hollywood, Rico Blanco, Rocksteddy, Gloc 9 and Karylle.
Also part of the show are Martin Nievera, Sam Concepcion, Jonalyn Viray, Kamikazee, Ebe Dancel, Typecast, Sandwich, Jay-R with Mica, Ron Henley, Jireh Lim, Slapshock, Silent Sanctuary, Abra, Thryo and Yumi, and “The Voice of the Philippines” finalists Klarisse de Guzman, Myk Perez and Janice Javier.
