MANILA, Philippines -- Big-name celebrities will gather this weekend for a charity bazaar organized by TV personality and former ABS-CBN anchor Christine Bersola-Babao.

The Grand International Importers and Exporters Christmas Bazaar will be held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City from November 9 to 11.

Now on its sixth year, the celebrity and charity bazaar aims to help underprivileged children through the World Vision organization, as well as through the Shepherd of the Hills orphanage.

The three-day affair will have on sale items previously owned by local celebrities, with some being sold on the ground by the TV personalities themselves.

ABS-CBN reporter Nina Corpuz on Thursday invited listeners of radio dzMM to attend the bazaar where she will sell, among others, clothes, shoes and branded bags.

Other celebrities who are reportedly taking part in the event are Kapamilya actresses Iza Calzado, Bea Alonzo and Toni Gonzaga, and celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales.

Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto and child star Xyriel Manabat will be selling pre-owned clothing items.

"Walang Hanggan" actress Dawn Zulueta and Megastar Sharon Cuneta will also put on sale otherwise expensive bags from popular brands.

Other stars selling their personal items and clothes are "X Factor" judge Charice, comedienne Pokwang, "Bandila" host Boy Abunda, actor Jericho Rosales, and celebrity couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos.

Aside from the bazaar itself, celebrity performances will be held to entertain attending patrons.

In a text message to radio dzMM on Thursday, Babao said IC Mendoza and Marissa Sanchez will be performing on Friday night at the event.

Also reported to be attending the bazaar to perform are Sam Concepcion, Giselle Sanchez and Nikki Valdez.

The Grand International Importers and Exporters Christmas Bazaar opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. and will be held inside Hall A of the World Trade Center.
