MANILA, Philippines - Contrary to studies saying that being fat may be bad for the bedroom, "Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition" grand winner Larry Martin claimed that obesity does not take a toll on a person's sex life.

In an interview with Boy Abunda for ABS-CBN news program "Bandila" on Monday night, Martin said he never had problems related to sex even before he slimmed down.

He joined "The Biggest Loser" with a weight of 255 pounds.

A number of studies have shown that obese men are more prone to impotence and erectile dysfunction, and may be far less sexually active than people of normal weight.

Obese women, meanwhile, are said to have four times as many unplanned pregnancies as healthy-weight women despite healthy sex.
