MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines is now home to the 26th edition of Elle Decoration, the luxury home magazine of the global fashion glossy Elle.
Elle Decoration is the newest addition to Summit Media’s roster of magazine titles, joining Cosmopolitan, Esquire and FHM.
The grand launch of the magazine was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, with the event featuring art installations and furniture from the country’s top artists and designers.

French Ambassador to the Philippines Gilles Garachon noted that the Philippine edition of Elle Decoration “is a great way to celebrate our common taste.”
“We (French) have a love for beautiful things and beautiful design, I must tell you, we share these with the Philippines. You also have great taste for clothing and design,” Garachon said.
Elle Decoration Philippines editor-in-chief Becky Kho, meanwhile, shared what readers can expect from the magazine.
“Like its 25 sister editions, Elle Decoration Philippines is about the home. It’s about shopping for it, decorating it, showcasing different homes from cities around the world,” Kho said.
“But I think there is something extra special about Elle Decoration. This is the only home magazine where inspiration flows from every page… You open any page, and you’ll find it,” she added.
Since its launch in France in 1987, Elle Decoration now has 26 editions from the United States, United Kingdom and Italy, among others.
“Elle Decoration is the only magazine that has its roots in fashion, that has an international perspective,” said local furniture designer Daphne Oseña-Paez, who hosted the magazine’s launch in the country.
