Zac Efron arrives in Manila
MANILA, Philippines – Hollywood actor Zac Efron, best known for his role as Troy in the “High School Musical” series, is now in Manila to endorse Filipino clothing brand Penshoppe.
Efron, who reportedly flew in with his father David Efron, manager Jason Barrett, and Hollywood photographer Darren Tieste, arrived around noon on Wednesday.

Efron said his dad has been in the Philippines several times already and has heard great things about the country.
“Well, first of all this trip is an amazing, amazing excuse to go to the Philippines. I have always wanted to visit the Philippines. My dad who has been to your country several times has been telling me great stories about it,” he said.
Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Efron then took a private plane to Legazpi City.
According to reports, the Hollywood actor will be having a brief vacation at the Misibis Bay Resorts as a personal guest of Bicolano tycoon Zaldy Co.

Efron is set to headline a Fan Conference at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 29.
The actor will lead the brand’s “All Stars” campaign, which also includes “Gossip Girl” stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, “The Vampire Diaries” actor Ian Somerhalder, and Thai idol Mario Maurer.
