Concert for voter's education launched

MANILA, Philippines – A concert promoting voter’s education will be held at the Amoranto Theatre, Roces Avenue, Quezon City on September 28.

The event, organized by the Ateneo School of Government, Kaya Natin Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership and the office of Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, aims to encourage first-time voters to register for the upcoming 2013 elections.

Filipino bands 6Cyclemind, Never the Strangers, Peryodiko, Circa, Flying Ipis and Join the Club are scheduled to perform at the concert, dubbed “R18: Kaya Natin Kung Kakayanin Mo Rin - A Free Voter's Education Concert.”

The concert starts at 6 p.m.

Free tickets will be given to registered voters who will send their scanned copies of proof of voters registration to [email protected]
