MANILA, Philippines – A reporter of ABS-CBN newscast “TV Patrol” has been hailed as the country’s “hottest newswoman” by an online magazine.
Zen Hernandez ranked first in the “Top 10 Hottest Newswomen: 2012 Edition” list of Spot.ph. In a writeup for Hernandez, the reporter was described as an “Angel Locsin look-alike.”
“Screen presence? Absolutely. In fact, we would find it hard to concentrate on her reports if she weren’t so good with delivering information,” the website said.
“Yes, this Angel Locsin look-alike has a charm that makes you look interested – in her, in what she’s saying, in current events in general.”
Aside from Hernandez, two other women reporting for “TV Patrol” made the cut. Apples Jalandoni and Bettina Magsaysay made it to second and eighth place, respectively.
ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) anchors Lexi Schulze and Gigi Grande, meanwhile, were respectively at the fourth and sixth spots.
Marieton Pacheco, a former reporter for ANC who is now a correspondent for ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel, ranked seventh.
