Makati Shangri-La hotel is celebrating International Chocolate Day on September 13 through promos, activities and special offers.
Customers at Sinfully by Makati Shangri-La can avail of a 2+1 offering on all pralines from September 8 to 14. The first 50 Instagram users who will post a photo with any Sinfully product on September 13 will get one free truffle. The post must be tagged #SinfullySelfie and @MakatiShangriLa.
Those who post their most creative #SinfullySelfie photo on Instagram until September 13 will have a chance to win a chocolate buffet for two at the Lobby Lounge and an exclusive chocolate making class with executive pastry chef Romain Renard. The entry with the most number of “likes” garnered by 5 p.m. on September 13 will win.
To those who are unable to join or win the contest, the all-you-can-eat chocolate pastries offering at The Lobby Lounge is priced at P676 net and is available from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Friday to Sunday until September 30.
The cooking class with Chef Renard will be held on September 13 and 27 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and is priced at P3,500 net per person. The amount includes all ingredients to be used, a chocolate buffet, sparkling wine, a recipe card and a certificate. Here, participants can learn how to prepare chocolate milk jam, chocolate mousse, dark chocolate and fleur de sel cookies, among others.
Meanwhile, Circles Event Café is offering a Chocolate Indulgence featuring an array of sweet and savory chocolate dishes such as Chili con Carne with Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Sable with Foie Gras Cream, Chocolate Macarons, Chocolate Panna Cotta and more until September 13 at P1,671 net for lunch and P2,072 net for dinner.

The Blackboard at The Podium mall recently introduced two all-you-can-eat offerings – the Continental Buffet-All-You-Can and the Mix and Match Buffet.
The Continental Buffet-All-You-Can features recipes inspired from different parts of the world, while the Mix and Match Buffet is a “pay-per-serving” setup where guests can order their choice of soup, salad, main course, side dish and dessert from The Blackboard’s menu.

This September, all of Cravings Group’s umbrella restaurants are offering special rainy day treats.
Cravings restaurant, for one, has Pier 21, a bread bowl containing creamy soup with clams, potatoes, vegetables and fresh herbs. Its branch at Fraser Place in Makati is exclusively serving Ra-Mi, or Japanese-style mami with a 10-hour broth and adobo tamago.
Lucia Ristorante, on the other hand, is offering an array of heartwarming choices – Pasta e Fagioli alla Piemontese (a rich soup containing pasta and beans) and Lombardi’s Minestrone (a clear soup with broccoli, carrots and cucumber).
B&P has the classic Filipino thick soup Lomi, while C2 Classic Cuisine offers its own rendition of Batchoy, another popular local dish.
Epicurious, meanwhile, has Clam Chowder with Gruyere and Blue Croustilles, which contains clams, diced potatoes, onions, carrots and cheese.
